Important points to stress in your letter:

* Our property values will tank.
* The amount we will receive for the 130' right of way won't begin to make up for our property devaluation.
* Our electric bills will increase as we compete with larger cities to the south for "our" cheaper electric.
* This project will supposedly only save pennies a year. The math on that can be found on the fact sheet in the files.
* Residents don't want the random and uncomfortable shocks from stray voltage to our families or our animals that AEP (Transource's parent company) has admitted to and created a video about.
* This project will hurt the Agri-tourism business.
* This project is totally unnecessary and is a "market efficiency" project NOT a reliability project. It will not increase grid reliability.
* Due to PA supplying so much of the east coast with cheaper natural gas, our environment here will
only continue to deteriorate due to the power plants and fracking. Meanwhile, the power is shuttled to other states who oppose fracking
*There is no shortage of power/electricity in the region, the lights are in no danger of going out.
*PJM has forecased a 0% increase in power usage over the next 15 years. As efficiency increases and gas powered appliances become more widely implemented, power usages is actually decreasing.
******This project is a want, not a need. There is no benefit to anyone in the areas under study.
